Granting Google Analytics Access to ClickMint

Purpose

This guide explains how to grant ClickMint secure Viewer access to your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property so ClickMint can read aggregate reporting data for dashboards and experiment analysis.

Before You Start

To complete this step, you must:

• Have administrative access to the correct GA4 property
• Be allowed to manage user permissions for that property
• Add the following ClickMint service account:

analytics-service-account@mindful-agency-443921-d5.iam.gserviceaccount.com

Security and Data Privacy

• ClickMint does not store or process raw PII from GA4 reports
• Your GA4 property remains under your ownership and control
• Viewer access is sufficient — administrator access is not required

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Sign in to Google Analytics

Open: https://analytics.google.com

2. Select the correct account and property

Confirm that you are working in the GA4 account and property ClickMint should read from.

3. Open Admin

Click Admin in the GA4 interface.

4. Open Access Management

Review access at the levels your team uses:

• Account level
• Property level

If your organization prefers property-level access only, that is usually sufficient.

5. Add ClickMint as a user

1. Click + → Add users
2. Enter the ClickMint service account email
3. Assign the role Viewer
4. Save the change

6. Confirm access

After saving, confirm the ClickMint service account appears in the GA4 user list.

Additional Considerations

• Repeat these steps for each GA4 property ClickMint should access
• Access can be revoked at any time from the same GA4 permissions screen
• After this step, continue with GA4 Experiment Tracking Setup to register cm_tracking and the required custom dimensions
